Stern Pinball has released code update 1.05 for Ghostbusters Pro, Premium and LE Pinball. This update contains new items like “River of Slime”, Family Mode, and additional audio, as well as tweaks and fixes to existing content. Stern announced today the availability of its much anticipated Ghostbusters pinball machine inspired by the original Columbia Pictures blockbuster “Ghostbusters” film. The Ghostbusters pinball machine will be available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models. The game will immerse players in the amazing and fun challenge of catching mischievous ghosts in an adventure- filled pinball environment capturing the world of Ghostbusters. Project Pinball Charity, with the support of Stern Pinball and Marco Specialties, announces the “Share the Love” nationwide event. From July 5 to Aug. 5, Project Pinball Charity founder and Senior Director, Daniel Spolar, will travel over 9,000 miles covering 26 states to dedicate pinball machines in five children’s hospitals across the country. He will stop in Boston; San Francisco; Denver; Omaha, Neb.; and Columbus, Ohio. Project Pinball Charity is a non-profit that has been maintaining and donating machines for use in children’s hospitals since 2011. Stern Pinball Inc. announced its move to larger facilities in Elk Grove Village, Ill., just minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The new 110,000-square-foot facility at 2001 Lunt Ave. enables the company to consolidate operations to improve efficiencies and better support global growth initiatives.
